Wound Management
Wound Management is the first scientific journal in Poland that deals with the issues of broadly defined management of wounds of various aetiologies. It’s the official quarterly journal of The Polish Wound Management Association which has been granted 6 points of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in 2015.
The establishment of the Wound Management journal
The establishment of the Wound Management scientific journal is closely related to the establishment of Polish Wound Management Association in 2004. The quarterly scientific journal consists of original papers, review papers, case reports, letters to the Editor and recommendations, both from the national Societies and, among others, from The European Wound Management Association (EWMA).
We take attendance on the most significant events
The medical journal is also published in a supplementary form, accompanying the events organised by the Societies that cooperates with the quarterly journal. An example of such event can be the 10th Congress of Polish Burns Management Association and the 13th Congress of Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. The Wound Management journal is published in the permanent circulation of 6000 copies. The members of the affiliated Societies receive free copies oft he journal with regular frequency.
